When did you start using reuseable period products and what motivated you?

I’ve seen them since I was quite young in videos and the like.

How many cycles did it take before you felt closer to confident in having a leak-free experience?

I’m still new, but I’m about two cycles in and I feel confident.

What is your period routine like?

Some point between periods I’ll sterilize the cup and then I just alternate between my cup and period underwear for my actual period.

What do you use to wash your cup with?

Cetaphil Face & Body Gentle Cleanser

Have you ever changed your cup or disc in a public bathroom?

No, if I get my period in public I’ll will use a pad till I get home.

What’s the longest you’ve left your cup in for?

12 hours

How do you sanitise your cup?

Boiling between periods for about 5 minutes

Would you ever use a second hand cup?

Maybe, I don’t think I feel comfortable with that right now, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it.

How many products did you try before you found one that works for you? Which ones didn’t work for you?

Another lucky experience, I started with the Saalt Teen and that worked great!

What do you like and dislike about period underwear and cloth pads and liners?

Period underwear’s great and I use it a lot, but sometimes the gusset’s a bit annoying and doesn’t work great with some clothes. And as for cloth pads, they always seem a bit bulky to me so I don’t really love them.

Have you ever stained a mattress with period blood?

Nope, I have a mattress protector ’cause of cats and it comes in handy for stuff like this as well lol

Is there a product that you would be interested in trying if you had no budget concerns?

I don’t really think so? I mean maybe Nixit, but my hesitancy stems from a mix of reasons.
